InstaTrust.ai is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

When agents and clients use InstaTrust.ai, we collect the following categories of information:

Account information: Agent name, email address, license information, and payment details.
Client estate planning data: Names, dates of birth, addresses, asset descriptions, beneficiary designations, trustee designations, and healthcare and financial decision-maker preferences entered during the trust-building process.
Usage data: Session timestamps, document generation logs, and token usage records.
Payment information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. Healthcare Information Notice

Estate planning documents generated by InstaTrust.ai may include Advance Healthcare Directives and HIPAA Authorization forms. These documents may contain Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA. This data is stored securely. Client answers and generated documents are held for the client: the client authors their own answers and directs document creation, the finished documents are delivered to the client, and the referring licensed professional does not have access to the client's answers or generated documents. Limited authorized InstaTrust.ai personnel may access data solely to operate and support the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

To prepare estate planning documents at the direction of the client, referred by their licensed professional
To process payments and manage token balances
To maintain session continuity and allow document retrieval
To improve document quality and platform performance
To comply with applicable laws and regulations

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:

Supabase — secure database and authentication
Anthropic — AI document generation (Claude API)
Stripe — payment processing
Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

5. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. API keys and service credentials are stored as environment variables and are never exposed to client-side code. Access to client data is restricted to authenticated agent accounts.

6. Data Retention

Trust session data is retained to allow agents to retrieve generated documents. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@instatrust.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@instatrust.ai.
